Registration Open for 2019 RPMDA Convention in San Diego

The Retail Print Music Dealers Association (RPMDA) has opened registration for its 43rd annual convention, which will be held from May 1-4, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay in San Diego, CA.

“While we have some killer social events and offsite excursions that will be announced over the coming weeks, the RPMDA convention has long been defined by its diverse session offering and the enormous amount of content that attendees receive over three days,” says Mike Watson of Toronto’s Remenyi Music who is also the RPMDA’s VP of programming. “We’re excited to offer a mix of all-new topics as well as deeper dives into some of the perennial challenges of our industry.”

Some of the sessions planned for the convention include: “State of the Industry,” discussing trends in the music products industry and where print fits in; “Spotlight on Social Media,” with hands-on breakout sessions on marketing; “Maximizing Events for Success,” providing proven techniques for in-store events; “Boutique Your Print Department,” on creating a specialty print and giftware department; and “Best Ideas,” the annual roundup of success stories from RPDMA members.
