Casio Canada Hires Christina Hicks to Lead Electronic Musical Instruments Division

Casio Canada has announced the hiring of Christina Hicks to the position of business development and sales manager of the Electronic Musical Instruments Division. The announcement was made by Michael Powers, Casio Canada’s VP of sales and marketing.

Hicks has an extensive background in the music products industry, recently serving as sales manager for the education, band and orchestral departments at Long and McQuade Musical Instruments in Ontario, following a decade as regional sales manager of its education department in British Columbia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Victoria.

Responsible for EMI sales and ongoing Channel Management of Canadian music chain stores and piano dealers, Hicks will also initiate comprehensive training sessions and events for Casio’s line of musical instruments, including console pianos, stage pianos, portable keyboards, lighted keyboards, synthesizers, DJ/VJ and groove controllers, music arranger and workstation keyboards.
