As of Oct. 1, 2018, Córdoba Music Group is officially partnering with Audio Distributors International (ADI) to grow the presence of their proprietary brands, Córdoba and Guild, in Canada. Córdoba says that ADI, with its 25-plus years in the musical instrument industry, offers the Canadian market with local inventory, great margins, quick shipments, and stable Canadian pricing.
“Richard and his team have an excellent track record of unparalleled customer support and we are excited to be joining forces,” says Jason Gano, VP of North American Sales for Córdoba Music Group. “The ability for dealers to purchase in Canadian dollars and have inventory ship from a warehouse inside Canada will ultimately make us better business partners. ADI was the logical choice based on their commitment to their customers. We look forward to a long relationship as both companies continue to grow”.
Richard Lasnier (pictured), owner of ADI, adds, “We consider the addition of Guild and Córdoba guitars to our product lines as a defining moment in the development of our musical instrument division. I personally have owned a Guild D-55 for about 20 years and can honestly say that it’s a joy to play and eye candy to look at. We celebrate this new partnership and will stop at nothing to make it a great success.”
ADI plans to continue and expand upon the progress that Córdoba Music Group already made through independent regional sales representatives by inviting them into the ADI family for a smooth transition. With Jim Verwoerd (British Columbia), Paul Gardner (Ontario), and Claude Lavallée (Quebec) still representing both Córdoba and Guild in their territories, there will be a smooth transition for Córdoba and Guild customers.
